Law Clerk

Zaine is a Law Clerk working across the Property, Commercial and Administration teams at Smith and Partners, supporting the wider team across a range of client and practice needs. He is currently in his fourth and final year of a BA/LLB at the University of Auckland, and brings a fresh perspective, a strong willingness to learn, and a practical approach to assisting wherever support is needed.

This is Zaine’s first role within the legal profession, following previous experience in retail while studying. In his role, he works alongside senior solicitors and the wider team, gaining valuable practical experience while helping to manage day-to-day workloads.

Having grown up in West Auckland, Zaine was drawn to Smith and Partners’ strong community focus and commitment to building genuine, long-term client relationships. Outside of work and study, he enjoys football, films, fiction, playing guitar, live music, and spending time with family.
