Senior Solicitor 

Tam is a Senior Solicitor at Smith and Partners, advising commercial clients across a wide range of industries. With over seven years’ experience in both New Zealand and the UK, he is known for his pragmatic, solution-focused approach and ability to get deals across the line.

Tam’s expertise includes regulatory compliance, company formations, mergers and acquisitions, franchise and shareholder agreements, and commercial contract negotiation. He builds strong relationships with clients, taking the time to understand their business goals and translating legal concepts into plain English.

Outside of work, Tam enjoys running up Mt Eden, patting other people’s dogs, and following the Hurricanes and Arsenal—often with frustration but always with loyalty.
