Mentoring New Zealand
Two of our lawers, Elizabeth Briggs and Jason Carruthers, work with Mentoring New Zealand to help grow and develop fledgling entrepreneurs.
The Horse Industry
Peter Smith has been involved in the equestrian industry for over 30 years. President of the Kumeu District Trotting Club from 1996 -2002, Peter now serves on the Board of Auckland Trotting Club and the Judicial Control Authority for Racing in New Zealand, and as President of the North Island Standard bred Breeder Association. He is chairperson of the Northern Region Equestrain Trust and Honrary solicitor of the Waitemata Hunt.
He is passionate about supporting the horse racing industry and all equine sports, and provides his considerable knowledge and expertise to these organizations charged with its development.
Rosebank Road Business Association
As members of the Rosebank Road Business Association, Smith and Partners support the development of local businesses.
Kumeu Agricultural and Horticultural Society
Peter is the honorary solicitor for the Kumeu Agricultural and Horticultural Society contributing to the Society by providing legal services.
Rotary
Smith and Partners provides members to the Rotary Club of Henderson and Waitakere City Rotary Club and supports local rotary activities.
Westpac Auckland West Business Awards
Senior Partner, Peter Smith, has been providing his skill and experience for over six years as a Judge in the West Auckland Business Awards. 2013 will be his 7th year as a judge.
